It was raining when we left Odda but when we stopped at Latefossen it was dry for a short moment. After passing Røldal we turned off the highway and took a scenic road 520 up the mountains where there was still more snow than we had seen the last few days.
A few kilometers passed Sauda we stopped at the Svandalsfossen, another large waterfall. From there we continued to Nesvik for a 13 minute crossing on the hydrogen powered ferry to Hjelmeland. By late afternoon we arrived in Stavanger, in time for a stroll through Gamle Stavanger, an old part of the city with narrow cobblestone streets and wooden buildings.
