A not so long drive today but as always, because of the roads and the photo opportunities along the way it took all day to drive from Bergen to Odda.
Although rain was forecast for the entire day, again, the weather was better than expected with short periods of rain but dry during most of the time. We had a short dry spell at Steindalfossen where we walked behind the large waterfall. We made a few short stops on the way to Vøringsfossen, the waterfalls that are reached by driving through several tunnels, one of them with a roundabout to split the road into different directions.
The waterfalls at Vøringsfossen are huge and can be seen from several viewing platforms connected with walkways and stairs.
It was evening when we reached Odda, a little town at the end of the Hardangerfjord and was the location of the Netflix series Ragnarok. A large rock with Runen can be seen near the waterfront as well as buildings used during filming.
