We stayed in the area todag with a short drive to Flåm for a ride on the Flåmbana one of the steepest railtracks in the world with beautiful views along the way. We had a 5 minute stop at Kjosfossen a large and wild waterfall where it hard to take a picture without getting soaked. Fortunately it was sunny and warm so we dried up quickly. Since the train had broken down on the way up we could not get off at Myrdal because the train had to return a quickly as possible to make up for lost time.
After a short stop at our accommodation we drove up the mountain to Stegastein, a viewing platform overlooking the Aurlandsfjord. The road is just a little wider than 1 car and has lots of passing areas in order to allow up and down traffic, it gets difficult when buses or RVs need to pass each other.
