Once again the sun was shining when we woke up but it was still chilly at about 11°. After breakfast the hotel shuttle brought us to the dock for a boat ride through Geiranger fjord along several high waterfalls. Upon our return the hotel shuttle (an electric 300+ HP Porche) picked us up again and brought us back to the hotel.
Via Ørnesvingen viewing point overlooking the fjord we followed the road North to the Eisdal ferry for a 13 minute crossing to Linge. Next stop was Gudbrandsjuvet where the Valldøla river flows through the gorge.
After a while the road ascended to higher elevations so we drove between large snowfields to Trollstigen. The café here was hit by an avalange a few months ago and still needs repairs. The road was also damaged and parts were washed away but has been fully repaired.
The whole day it was sunny and that meant that temperatures kept rising, at 4 o’clock it was 27°.
