Today was a lazy day. A taxi brought us to Metelkova, a small part of Ljubljana where people have an “alternative lifestyle”. As it was still early the place was almost deserted except for a few tourists. It looks like in the evenings and at night the area is very lively as empty beer cans were all over the place. Of course we were more interested in the street art on the buildings and walls.
It’s not to far to the center of town so we walked to the Dragonbridge and followed the Ljubljanica along the other bridges and then on to Tivoli Park and back to the center, near the three bridges. Just a few 100 meters away we could take the taxi back to the hotel.
Impressive!
