Only a short drive today so we could take it easy. A few kilometers from Cape Nelson we did a short walk to the enchanted forest. From the parkinglot it’s steep downhill along many steps and of course, coming back it’ steep uphill.
A bit further down the road we stopped at Yellow Rock, a yellow colored rock just at the water’s edge.
We then made another stop at Port Fairy, known for it’s historic houses. We also went for a walk on Griffith Island which is a bird sanctuary where at this time many birds are nesting. We also saw several black wallabies.
When we arrived at Warrnambool we had just enough time left to visit the Maritime village with, again, historic buildings and two lighthouses.
